Candidate to possess the ability to fabricate acrylic and plastic materials from blank goods into close tolerance three dimensional parts / fixtures utilizing various machinery, supporting products, and dimensional drawings.
Qualifications
Understands the fabrication and assembly of close tolerance three dimensional parts.
Possesses working knowledge of equipment such as Jointer, Router, Table Saw, etc.
Possesses good math and analytical skills
Possesses ability to effectively communicate in written form
Must be a Team oriented person
Possesses a basic understanding of acrylic / plastic materials and applications
Skills will include the understanding and application of:
Joinery
Cabinetry
Experienced in the use of table saw, joiner, router, drill press, and other cabinet making equipment
Plastics Bending
Plastics Gluing
Flame Polishing
Blueprint Reading
Plastics cutting and cut quality
Use of digital and dial micrometers
