Mid-level Komo CNC Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a CNC Operator to support the creation of a wide variety of retail displays, fixtures, signage, lighted elements and other branded solutions. If selected for this role, your work will touch some of the world's best-known brands and be seen across the continent in high-profile locations. This position effectively and independently operates a Komo CNC Funuc Controlled Router based on training certification and industry experience. The Mid-level Operator takes direction from the Department Team Leader in the machine operations and quality processes for the assigned equipment and jobs.

Primary Objective

The Mid-level CNC Operator effectively and independently performs a wide variety of duties within the Production Department. This position takes direction from the team leader but also applies their skills to work independently.

Areas of Responsibility

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Operate CNC router table at production quotas.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area clear of debris.
  • Perform all job duties using standard safety practices.
  • Use time wisely and remain productive.
  • Other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • CNC experience required. Basic knowledge of computer operations and machinery.
  • Basic knowledge of measuring tools such as tape measure, ruler and meter gauges.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Machine operator experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow written directions and basic shop drawings.
  • Have a general understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Willingness to work flexible and overtime hours as requested at times.
  • Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.
  • Strong comprehension and analytical abilities.
  • Computer and mathematical skills preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds of material on a regular basis.
  • Use hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools and controls.
  • Stand for long periods of time.
  • Repetitive movements.
  • Safety glasses must be worn at all times while in the shop.

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
